Functional, good price, easy to use:
This scanner does exactly what I expect it to do. I can get the fault code myself, search for them on the internet and find an explanation of the code to determine if I can fix it myself or fix it by a professional.
I use it to read and erase the fault code, works well. This is a good diagnostic tool that save me a lot of time and money, to check for vehicle failures and pay for repairs.
Reasonable price, good quality and easy to use. That’s why I purchase it.
Great for most makes:
Tried and tested I swapped a dash over real easy. I think is a great bit of kit for mileage correction key coding, injector coding, cluster change, radio decoding infact great for most anything on just about any make.
IMMO 4 and 5 key programming working:
I’ve tested on 2012 Scirocco 2.0 TSi and 2014 Audi A5 2.0T.
Overall it is good value for money. Not as good as OBDSTAR X300 DP PLUS pad for keys and odometer but has many better functions like programming and calibrations.
BMW and VAG key done by OBD:
Two more jobs just done. 2010 BMW key couple mins obd and VW crafter airbag crash cleared OBD in CPL minutes wow!!!
Passat B7 2013 mileage:
Just get FVDI 2018,done a Passat B7 2013 mileage re-calibrate by ODB – successfully
Works for AUDI A4 2005 mileage:
This FVDI 2018 can configure the mileage of AUDI A4 2005, can not configure the mileage of AUDI A6 2018.
VVDI2 enabled:
the FVDI 2018 has the softdog components integrated on a new pcb so there is no separate softdog anymore. the software is the same as 2015 FVDI but with some Xhorse VVDI2 programmer options added:
VVDI2-VAG 1.2.2 for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat,Skoda
VVDI2-BMW 1.2.2 for BMW, Mini)
