How to Install & Program Mazda TPMS Sensors with Autel MX-Sensor

This problem is familiar to many owners of new cars equipped with a regular tire pressure monitoring system – TPMS. Battery life in the sensors of the system is about 5-7 years . Therefore, if your car is older, then this problem will either annoy you or start annoying soon.

When the system cannot find a sensor in the wheel, it happily notifies about this by a flashing indicator on the dashboard:

It is not surprising if we recall the battery life of 5-7 years: the sensors I bought were obviously older.

Began to look for alternatives to native sensors, only new ones.  But then I found a solution that I liked right away: universal programmable sensors.

These sensors pretend to be regular, and the car sees them as original.
Their cost is low compared to the original.

Their essence is that you can sew up any ID and algorithm of operation for any car with regular tpms into this sensor.
The restriction is only in frequency, because for American vehicles tpms works at a frequency of 315 MHz, and for all others – 433 MHz. The choice fell on the Autel tech – it produces a bunch of equipment for auto diagnostics, including tpms universal sensors.

Since I have an American model Mazda, a set of sensors to 315MHz and programmer for them was purchased (it is universal, have both 315, and 433)
You need:
Sensors The Autel MX Sensor 315mhz – 4pcs
programmer Autel MaxiTPMS Pad
Here is a list of supported cars, it is very extensive :

A few comparative photos with dead original sensors:

Install the tpms software for the programmer TPMS PAD

It is necessary to choose a car, model, year.
And further 3 options:

1) test – read data from sensors – go, pressure, temperature charge (if available). You can read not only Autel sensors, but also standard, OEM sensors in wheels! For example, in order to view the ID of the standard sensors or look at the charge level (not all OEM sensors support this)

2) clone regular. If there is a set of live native sensors, then clones can be made – for a winter set of wheels, for example, then you will not have to reassign the sensors to the car.

3) generate new IDs – then the car will require you to attach new sensors – on most cars this procedure happens automatically, you have to go a little and the car will determine everything itself.

Since I didn’t have my own registered sensors from the car, my third option is to generate new ones.

Put Autel MX-sensors into car

I drove to the office and smart guys help install the sensors

In an hour and a half, slowly put all 4 sensors and reinstall the wheels:

New sensors for 15g are lighter than standard ones, so everything was installed perfectly.

There is an instruction on how to register new sensors, there is a whole procedure there.

Some time later, ObdLink + Forscan connected, saw that the car sees new sensors, 4 pressures and 4 temperatures. By the way, only FORScan sees, in addition to the control modules of the motor, also tpms, abs, dsc, srs, electric booster, etc.

Wheels pumped up to 2.6, the lamp went out.
The system works!)

In fact, this scanner can read sensors right on the machine!

The best way to Install 10.2008 XentryDAS Software

Look here: 10.2008 Xentry/DAS Golden Version: Free of charge Download, Why the very best, Ways to install

Free download DAS/Xentry 10-2008 Golden Version:

There are several download links is usually found at

Why version 10.2008 is the greatest DAS/Xentry:

10.2008 for the reason that the most beneficial Version as “Old” and with lots of points “Alive” & Un-Locked WITHOUT too much “Tricks”, “Hacks” etc…

AND THIS …. is the greatest advice you can have. Maybe the rush for latest latest software from everybody only working with 2007 or much older cars should not jump….. Jumping sometimes causes problems, and as with many points older like may 09, sept 09, aug 08, – they are easy to use, free of charge from problems, and can also give lots of many more hidden tricks, and secrets which every new version may lose, or the door may be closed and it seems like it was never even there before….. If your working on 2011 cars – GREAT but i think maybe it is MB who do most of this. Most people unless you working on 2011 then for 2007 cars even 2009 software will be the best…. I think some will agree. Imagine being able to set up without fuss, no problems, no head banging and no searching for half of your life for the answers to xentry errors.. and with this you can also get quite a few extras unlocked or not hidden for all your 2009 and earlier cars…..

The best way to install DAS/Xentry 10-2008 Golden Version:
1. Set up Windows XP with service pack 3 and create two users with administrator privileges OWNER and STAR.
2. Partition your hard drive like this:
C: minimum 15 GB of free of charge space, 20 GB recommended
D: minimum 5 GB of totally free space
E: minimum 5 GB of free of charge space, 20 GB recommended if you will be installing WIS later
F: minimum 20 GB of no cost space
You can use any partitioning software, but make sure drive letters match! If you are looking for partitioning software, EASUS Partition Master Cost-free or MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition are no cost and should do the job.
3. Set your date to be no more than one month after STAR DVD release.
4. Run prepare.bat file and follow it’s instructions.
5. Place the STAR DVD into laptop drive.
6. Launch G:\stardiag\setup.exe file (assuming your DVD drive letter is G). Installation may finish immediately and ask you to reboot your computer. Let it do it and launch setup again after reboot. Once installation starts, ignore error -6003 (if it occurs). Just press OK to continue installation process.
7. If you need to repeat DAS installation using another language, do it before proceeding to the next step.
8. Once your DAS will be installed, do not press finish button to reboot your computer. Launch included file after installation.bat.
9. Navigate to: Control panel > System > Hardware > Device manager > Ports (COM & LPT). Right click on that COM port you have left enabled and and select Properties.
Go to Port Settings tab and set these values:
Bits per second: 115200
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow Control : None
Then click on Advanced… button and make sure Use FIFO buffers are checked and COM Port Number is set to COM2.
Press OK and close Device manager.
10. Reboot your computer. If you find your STAR user account is locked then try this password: User$star2004. If it does not work, log into your other account (OWNER) and remove the password for user STAR.
11. You will probably need to apply some DAS fixes. You will find them in DAS fixes folder.

The 10.2008 DAS/Xnetry download link is often discovered on the web, free in forums.

But it’s not easy to find a working one.

If you have no luck to find a good one, 09.2018 is another very best version for you.

It comes with a SSD, run much faster and more stable than HDD

DTS Monaco included!

DTS could be the finest software ever used on cars, for quite a few owners.
Coding works very good an easy, simply because for all coding-points it shows a “coding description”. With Vediamo you can not sort the list and have to make “right click” on any coding-point to read the description.
So, if you search for special factors or “browse” through the functions in the ECU, Monaco is more comfortable.
